Happy Friends with Flair Friday, ya'll!! Sorry, it's been a bit busy around here- DH is getting ready for a mini-deployment, so I'm spending extra time with him :) Anyhoo, here's a set of sympathy cards I whipped up recently- super simple. It uses the sentiment from the KOM Think Happy Thoughts- love my KOM's! I diecut the butterfly and used the negative image- backed it with some scrapbook paper I've had forever from a Border's scrapbooking kit, then just added some ribbon, twine, button, and gems! I really like how they turned out- I think I actually like the horizontal LO the best- might be seeing that again in another card ;) Have a fabulous weekend all!!

Wow... wow!!! LOVE the purple and grey combo (so going to have to remember that one). Beautiful sympathy cards that are not too dreary and love the pop of color.
These are absolutely beautiful! I love how you used the negative diecut image. Your colour scheme is great too. Sympathy cards are never fun to make, but I'm sure the recipients of these will feel the love and caring that went into them.
I love stamping in the cut out! I bookmarked your blog... I'm going to try that technique myself some day :oD
